Kayaking is the most environmentally sensitive way to explore the Murray River. Enjoy the thousands of kilometres that the Murray has to offer and explore the many wetlands and reserves only accessable by kayak.
Freedom Boat Hire assures a stable and smooth kayaking experience. Our top of the line kayaks have been specifically selected for maximum stability and comfort, featuring a fully padded seat, safety equipment and a dry storage compartment.
Kayaks are perfect to bring along on a houseboat holiday or camping trip along the Murray. Get some piece and quite amoungst the action filled getaway.
There is no delivery charge to Swanport reserve, Sturts reserve, Long Island reserve or Murray Bridge Marina all in Murray Bridge.
If this is your first time on a kayak or stand up paddle board we recommend that you book into an Introduction to Kayaking tour to ensure you have the skills, safety and awareness to look after yourself and our equipment.
For a full day of fun:
Stand Up Paddle Board: $50
Single Kayak: $50
Double Kayak: $70
PFD’s and paddles are supplied with all boats, For extended hire periods please refer to the Prices tab.
Kayak tours are available for groups upon request.
Location: Murray Bridge – Swanport reserve or Riverglades wetlands depending on the weather. Location and tour may vary depending on the weather and environmental conditions.
Cost: Adult $60, children under 12 $30, family (2 adults, 2 children) $150, Children 4 and under are free but must sit on guardians lap
